#NBC Fail, US Workaround for BBC Live Coverage

NBC has really dropped the ball on the 2012 London Olympics in terms of coverage. In order to hopefully boost their Primetime ratings, NBC has chosen to hold off on airing major events until the nightly recap with Bob Costas. What may have worked 10 years ago just doesn't fly anymore with the public. Hashtags such as #NBCFAIL  have popped up all over social media networks in the US. Twitter and Facebook have become minefields for those trying to stay 'spoiler-free' of the events that they've missed during the day. Even NBC's coverage on live streaming apps has been a little lackluster. While other countries, such as the UK's BBC, are providing some amazing commentary and live coverage of the games, we in the US have been left out . Until now. With a few simple steps and about 5 minutes, your computer will be able to tune you into BBC's streaming page. In order to have your computer bypass BBC's attempt to block outside countries from their streams, you'll have to do some easy changes under your computer settings. First, to start off you have to go to Unblock US to create an account that will allow you to view the coverage with just your email address.  Next the guys over at Lifehacker.com have written up an amazing and simple guide to tweak your computer to allow you to tune in to the BBC coverage. A complete guide for the Windows and Mac settings that need to be changed are linked here.
