Its happened to us all, we set our keys down in their usual spot, and then someone in the house comes and moves them, causing us to frantically look all over for our keys when we need them, making us late to whatever appointment we were off to! Thanks to Tile, this hopefully will be a problem of the past for everyone. These small devices are built with a bluetooth tracker, small speaker and come with a companion app. Tile's range of devices make finding our mistaken items a quick and easy task.
Recently Tile released the Tile Slim, a compact and slim tracker with a minuscule thickness of 2.4mm, thats practically only the size of two credit cards stacked together! Tile Slim's small size makes it easy to throw into your wallet. Because Tile uses other users devices as a crowdsourcing way of location identification, if you ever lose your wallet, hopefully one of the already 4.5 million users will help you find your prized possession if they come within range of your Tile! With a recent launch in Australia, Tile will hopefully help you in that age old pickle of a problem of loosing your keys or wallet.
I've been using the Tile Slim & Tile Mate recently to find my keys and wallet when I misplace them in the house. I simply open up the Tile app and ping my device to locate it by sound, luckily so far I have not lost them, so as long as they've been within range of my phone I've quickly been able to pinpoint their location. If you are outside of the range, the app will show you a green ring that acts as a status indicator if you get close to your device, simply retrace your steps and hopefully become reunited with your Tile.
Compatible with iOS & Android phones, the range of Tile devices make it a perfect purchase to those who constantly set things down and quickly forget where they've placed them. Pairing the Tile devices was quick, clocking in at less than a minute each. I've even started clipping on my Tile Mate to my drone in case it ever fails to come back to me.
In Australia, Tile Slim and Tile Mate are available at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys and select Bunnings Warehouse stores nationally. For international purchases make sure to head to Tile's website to find out where you can buy them, and trust me they're worth the purchase!
