Best Dressed Men: 72nd Golden Globes Awards

Kit Harington - Giorgio Armani / Eddie Redmayne - Gucci / Matt Bomer - Ralph Lauren

The 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards just ended & with that another night of amazing fashion on the red carpet comes to an end. A big trend for the men was straying away from the traditional black suit. Seen on the red carpet this year were a lot of midnight blue hues as well as velvet pieces. Definitely not your typical black tie affair.

For the guys, my pick of the three best dressed were Eddie Redmayne, Kit Harington & Matt Bomer. All three embraced an alternative option for formalwear. For a while now I've been admiring Eddie Redmayne's suit game. From the second I saw Redmayne's Burberry look from the 2014 Met Gala, Redmayne has become a favorite of mine.

What do you think of my three picks for 'Best Dressed Men' for the 72nd Annual Golden Globes Awards? Who were some of your favorites?

Met Gala 2014, Best Dressed Men

From midnight blue tuxedos to coat and tails, last nights Met Gala brought back an essence of class to menswear on the red carpet. While usually red carpets are quite tame in respect to the men's suit choices, last night was surely a break from the norm. I mean it's not very often you see celebrities walking down the carpet with tails, white bow ties and pocket watches. While the dress code for men entailed 'White Tie', a few notable attendees like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Dancy broke the protocol. Regardless, the following few gentleman made more people pay attention to the guys choice of outfits than usual, which becomes difficult in an event where the women run the carpet.
