There is nothing that excites me more than to discover a new Sunday brunch spot. There is something about Sunday brunch that makes it my favorite meal of the week, maybe its the mimosas or the promise of breakfast until 3p.m., but its the only lunch I look forward to all week!
This weekend while walking around Toorak, the Beverly Hills of Melbourne, I was recommended by a friendly barista to check out The Stables at Como for brunch. This cafe + lunch spot is on the grounds of the historic Como House & Grounds, dating back 160 years. The restaurant itself was built into one of the stables on the grounds, creating a perfect little hideaway for lunch nestled within the beautiful scenery that surrounds it. I figured it was the perfect spot to stop & take a few pictures of my outfit & to feature my newest Tom Ford purchase.
While usually I'm dressed in some sort of bright color, this morning I woke up with the feeling of sporting a very monochrome look - black & white everything. Recently I purchased these Tom Ford sneakers from my favorite store, Harrold's, which I was eager to shoot from the second I walked out of the store. I paired the Tom Ford Russel Velvet High-Top black sneakers with a Rag & Bone skinny black jean & a ONETSHIRT statement tee, to showcase the simplicity & luxury of the shoe. I think the black & white motif pops against the lush gardens on the grounds. The shirt I'm wearing is part of the FASHIONISTAS collection for ONETSHIRT by Michael Roberts. I picked it out because the cool drawing of Marc Jacobs, but the collection has other fashionistas like Tom Ford, Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld & others.
So what do you think of this casual look for a Sunday Sunday? What are some of your favorite brunch spots?
