Fall Trends: High End Sneakers

I've been on a sneaker obsession recently. It seems that lately all I want to wear is a fashionable sneaker. I've been able to dress sneakers up or down depending on any situation. For a while now, sneakers have made an appearance on the runways of some of fashion's most celebrated designers. Paired with a variety of clothes, sneakers can go with anything from suits to sweats. Not since the 1990's have people paid much attention to what kicks you are sporting on your feet. While I've been rocking my favorite Ferragamo sneakers for the last year, it is time for an upgrade.

With the fall season upon us, what better time than now to upgrade your kicks. The key to pulling off the sneaker is to pick something creative & fashion forward. Don't expect to be complimented on some Nike trainers if you want to pull off this look. Splurge a little & pick up some of these awesome sneakers. Trust me not only will you look great, but your feet will be thanking you from the reprieve of some of your more constricting shoes.

Summer Must-Have: Acetate Sunglasses

The long summer days are almost upon us, bringing plenty of days spent outdoors by a pool or on a patio with a drink. Along with your other must haves; the perfect bathing suit, large waterproof beach bag, SP45 and other essential items, one thing that should be in your summer arsenal this year are a pair of acetate sunglasses. Everyone from Tom Ford to Ray Ban has jumped on this hot trend. With trips to the West Coast being planned or other beach locals, it's never too early to find your favorite pair of sunglasses for the summer. While some people may scoff at the idea of wearing an accessory made out of material most known for platform shoes, let's get one thing straight; Tom Ford knows best. The Leo Acetate sunglasses from his eponymous brand is my personal pick on how to rock the acetate trend, made almost in a tortoise shell design. Among Ford's Leo, the following are other perfect alternatives.

High-End, Pumped-Up Kicks

High-Tops are having a moment right now. No longer relegated to just schoolyards and gyms, this certain sneaker style has taken the footwear world by storm. With designers like Isabel Marant creating a work of art in the form of high-tops for women, menswear designers have taken note and created luxury sneakers that would make any shoe aficionado jealous. While the words “sneakers” and “luxury” don’t really go together, the following three designer brands have created high-end high-tops that are comfortable to wear every day, but edgy and fashionable to wear on a night out. Ditch your Oxford's and wingtips and style your next look with the following three picks. Pair them with some straight leg jeans and a t-shirt or be bold and channel your inner Justin Timberlake and wear them with your suit. With muted and monochrome colors, these pumped-up kicks will not have anyone wondering if you’re paying homage to the 90’s; the minimalist style and subdued colors assure the following high-tops will go great with any style and look.
